Vaser Liposuction

Objective

Vaser Liposuction focuses on breaking the fat deposits and loosens them from extending far down tissues, resulting in effective removal of fat during the treatment. Vaser is an ultrasound technology that utilises powerful waves to derange the bond between the fat cells. Vaser Liposuction treatment targets the underlying areas such as Face (chin and neck), Chest, Arms, Upper back, Hips, Buttocks, Thighs, Inner knees, Stomach & Waistline.

Vaser Liposuction Objective

Apart from being used for cosmetic purpose, it is also done to treat medical conditions such as:

  • Gynecomastia which is the accumulation of excess fat that result mens’ breasts.
  • Lipomas which are a form of fatty tumours.
  • Lymphedema which is a condition in which excess fluid occurs in arms and legs, causing swelling.
  • Lipodystrophy syndrome which is the accumulation of fat in one part of the body.

Procedure

The procedure begins with the insertion of a saline solution which is a combination of certain liquids, into the desired body part. Vaser lipo uses high-frequency ultrasound waves instead of a manual movement or water pressure to break down the fat cells. Ultrasonic probes help ultrasonic waves to enter into the fatty tissue to break the fat cells. The vibration loosens the cells and accumulates with the saline solution present in the respective body part. A cannula removes the excess liquid and fat cells.
